Classical Christian School Consulting

Principled from the start.

For schools that will outlast us.

We advise classical Christian schools across the country: founding boards preparing to open well, and heads of school leading through every season that follows. The work is quiet, particular, and built to outlast the engagement.

“It's good to have an old man along. An old man has seen worse.”

The Education Freedom Tax Credit · January 1, 2027

The largest new source of scholarship money in a generation starts January 1, 2027.

Anyone who gives to an approved scholarship organization gets up to $1,700 back on their federal taxes. A married couple who each give gets $3,400. Not a deduction. A credit, every year, with no national cap. 31 states have opted in to date. Your families are the donor base. The work is telling them well, in plain words, with a way to give. That is the work we do

State count: eftccredit.com state tracker, as of October 20, 2026. The IRS table lists 30, as of September 14, 2026; New York announced October 9, 2026 and is not on it yet.

The four facts

  • $1,700 per taxpayer, every year, starting with 2027 gifts. $3,400 for a couple who each give.
  • Donors give to a scholarship organization, not to the school.
  • Families under 300% of area median income qualify. That is nearly everyone.
  • A giver in any state can give to a scholarship organization in yours and claim the credit.

Why The Principled Co.

We have sat in your chair.

We are practitioners: leaders who have learned through tribulation and triumph what faithful school-building requires. We are not a scholarship organization and we are not a vendor with a product to sell you. We are the school's own advisor, on your side of the table.

The schools that outlast us are also the hardest to build. You don't have to figure that out alone.

We have opened, led, and steadied schools in their hardest seasons. When you're ready to talk, we're ready to listen.
