What We Do

Faithful counsel for every season of school life.

Six services, one firm. Most schools come to us for one of them and stay for the rest. Start wherever your school is.

Starting Well

Most schools begin with founders who love children, learning, and God, but have little experience building an institution. We help founding boards find footing, establish sound governance, hire a first head, and open with clarity, courage, and a fighting chance.

  • Head of School Search

Most schools are started by people who love children, love learning, and love God, and who have absolutely no idea what they're getting into. That's not a criticism. That's a description of nearly every good thing ever built. We've helped founding boards find their footing, write their governing documents, hire their first head of school, and open their doors with clarity, courage, and a fighting chance.

Running with Integrity

The work of contracts, books, vendors, and annual giving isn't beneath the mission; it's one way the mission is lived. We help schools steward resources with honesty and competence, bringing dignity to the daily work of administration.

  • Bookkeeping Services
  • Vendor Reviews
  • Fractional COO & CFO
  • Financial Dashboards

The unglamorous work of running a school, the contracts, the books, the vendors, the annual fund, is not beneath the mission. It is the mission lived out in ledgers, line items, and priority lists. We help schools steward what God has entrusted to them with honesty, competence, and the quiet dignity that faithful administration deserves.

Forming Culture

Schools that last know who they are in hallways as well as classrooms. We help shape the rhythms, relationships, and language of welcome: from parent communication and mission clarity to a coherent brand and website.

  • School Culture
  • Classical Ethos
  • Parent Communication
  • Brand Clarity

Culture is caught before it is taught, and the schools that last are the ones that know who they are in the hallways, not just the classrooms. We help schools build the rhythms, relationships, and habits of welcome that make families feel they have finally come home, what Christians have simply always called love. We help schools find the words, build the website, and shape the brand that consistently gives parents more than they expected.

Growing Toward Excellence

Accreditation, curriculum review, and long-range planning are invitations to ask whether a school is becoming what it was called to be. We bring perspective to honest reflection, helping leaders distinguish a difficult season from meaningful growth.

  • Accreditation
  • Curriculum Review
  • Long-Range Planning
  • Surveys

Accreditation, curriculum review, long-range planning: these are not bureaucratic hurdles. They are invitations to ask hard questions about whether the school is becoming what it was called to be. We walk alongside schools in that honest reckoning with enough experience to know the difference between a school that is struggling and a school that is growing.

Funding the Mission

A school that cannot fund itself cannot fulfill its calling. We help build the rhythms and relationships that sustain generosity: from annual fund strategy and donor development to the work of retaining faithful supporters.

  • EFTC Readiness

A school that cannot fund itself cannot fulfill its calling. We help schools build the rhythms and relationships that turn faithful families and friends into faithful donors, and keep them. From annual fund strategy to donor development, this is joyful sustained generosity.

New for 2027 · The Education Freedom Tax Credit

Your families are the donor base. They do not know it yet. Someone is going to tell them, and it should be you, said well.

Starting January 1, 2027, a gift to an approved scholarship organization comes back to the giver as a federal tax credit of up to $1,700. EFTC Readiness gets a school ready to make that ask: the letter to families, the parent night talk, a one-page family FAQ, the pledge list, the January reminder, and the thank-you, with the state, the board, and the calendar squared away behind them. Flat fee, never a percentage of what your families give.

“What is good is difficult, and what is difficult is rare.”

Robert Capon

The schools that outlast us are also the hardest to build. You don't have to figure that out alone.

We have opened, led, and steadied schools in their hardest seasons. When you're ready to talk, we're ready to listen.
